Using the Tilburg.ai extension in VS Code & Positron

The Tilburg.ai extension brings Tilburg.ai into your code editor. Install it in VS Code or Positron, create a personal API key in the Tilburg.ai API portal, and paste the key in the extension to get started.

Step 1

Step 1: Install the Tilburg.ai extension

Install the Tilburg.ai extension from the extensions panel in VS Code or Positron.

Open the extensions panel

Open VS Code or Positron and go to the Extensions view: click the Extensions icon in the sidebar, or press Ctrl+Shift+X (Cmd+Shift+X on macOS).

Search and install

Search for “Tilburg.ai”, select the extension and click “Install”. Once installed, it appears in your list of installed extensions.

Step 2: Create an API key

The extension needs a personal API key, which you create in the Tilburg.ai API portal.

Go to the API portal

Go to the Tilburg.ai API portal and create a new API key.

Keep your key private

Copy the key and store it somewhere safe. Treat it like a password: do not share it with others or commit it to a code repository.

Step 3: Paste the API key in the extension

Connect the extension to your account by entering the API key you just created.

Enter your API key

Open the Tilburg.ai extension in VS Code or Positron and paste your API key when asked. The extension is now connected and ready to use.
